We build furniture as a means of expression and philosopy.
Expression starts with the drawing board. Owner, Lester Snatos hand selects choice pieces of wood for each creation. On the board he sketches a piece until the curves and burls take an aesthetically pleasing look, then adds comfort and function together, to form a practical unit.
Lester bridges and blends many styles and colors together in a way no one else has tried, to achieve a look that is not overbearing, but contains many elements. Components of Adirondack, Shaker, Molesworth, New Mexican, and Native American can all be found in his art. His specialty is to work with designers to create custom pieces.
Lester’s workshop is a building that used to belong to Thomas Molesworth himself.
